Comments : CSX in the last year (2006-2007) sold the line to a coal company and withdrew the abandonment. 10/07
--Franklin County: Frankfort Trail Project ,4 miles Pinsly Railroad Company has an interest in two miles and two miles are privately owned. The landowner was interested in selling it for a trail. Local citizens have proposed to reactivate the Capital Heritage Trail Foundation to support the project. The reactivation process is stalled. 2005
--Garrard County: Leavell Tunnel near Old Railroad Road near KY 52. 2005
--Hardin County: Elizabethtown, 3 miles, inactive. An individual and an industry share ownership. The railbed was abandoned approximately 20 years ago.
