Join the MSU Center for Environmental Education and US Forest Service on September 29 from 9 to noon in an effort to re-open the trail to the Rowan County high point -- Limestone Knob. I know it is on the same day as the Storytelling Festival, but it would be great if you couls take a few hours to help with this trail project. The Morehead Tourism has paid for a new sign to be placed at the high point and we will be placing a couple picnic tables on site as well.

We will be meeting where Forest Service Road 964 (which is off of FS Road 16 across from Twin Knobs) meets Limestone Trail.

Please wear boots and long pants. Gloves are also handy.

Equipment? Small cutters (for weeds and branches) and weed eaters would be the most helpful.
