Brighton East Rail Trail: The Brighton East Rail Trail is the first rail trail in Fayette County. Construction of the first phase began in August 2006 and is expected to be completed in December 2006. This trail will be a one mile paved trail from Bryant Road to Pleasant Ridge Drive. Construction of Phase 2 will be from Pleasant Ridge Drive to Deer Haven Lane and is expected to begin in 2007. This section will also be one mile long. Parking for the trail is at Pleasant Ridge Park, 1350 Pleasant Ridge Drive.
