Newport–Southbank Bridge, aka Purple People Bridge: Campbell County: Cincinnati, OH. to Newport, KY over the Ohio River.

Will connect proposed Ohio River Trail in Cincinnati and proposed River Path in KY at the new Newport on the Levee Commercial center and Aquarium. Directions to Trailhead:3rd St. (Ky. SR 8) to north on Saratoga St. Endpoints:3rd and Saratoga Sts. in Newport and Pete Rose Way in Cincinnati. 0.5 mile, Surface: Bridge is concrete. Pedestrian and bike travel. It is a double bridge with a rail span. The bridge was sold to Newport by the KY Transportation Cabinet.

On the Cincinnati end there is an abandoned rail line now in use as a trail that connect to the new Great American Ball Park and to the Theodore Berry International Friendship Park and a bike path.
